Formation pour tous les acteurs pastoraux concernés par l’initiation chrétienne à tous les âges

The Archdiocese of Montpellier is offering training sessions for pastoral workers involved in Christian initiation for all ages. The sessions, titled Baptism, a New Life in Christ, aim to help leaders support children, adolescents, adults, and young parents as they encounter Christ through the sacraments.

The training will be led by Bernard Maitte, a priest from the Diocese of Aix and Arles. Father Maitte serves as a parish priest and teaches the theology of liturgy and sacraments at the Studium of the Seminary of Aix and at ISTR/ICM in Marseille. He is also involved in revising the rituals for confirmation and the baptism of school-aged children.

Participants can choose between two dates and locations. The first session will take place on Saturday, November 14, 2026, from 10h to 16h30 at Villa Maguelone in Montpellier. The second session is scheduled for Wednesday, November 25, 2026, from 9h to 15h30 at the Maison des Pénitents in Mèze.
