Fr Mychal Judge remembered 25 years after 9/11

Communities are remembering Father Mychal Judge 25 years after he became the first official death recorded during the September 11 attacks.

Father Judge, a Franciscan friar and chaplain for the New York City Fire Department, was killed by falling debris at the scene. According to Rome Reports, he had rushed to the site to pray and administer last rites to those caught in the chaos. He was officially designated as Victim 0001.
