França: Emmanuel Macron alerta para guerra e «epidemia de desinformação»

French President Emmanuel Macron warned of war scenarios in Europe and the impact of a disinformation epidemic during a meeting at the Robert Schuman Congress Center in Metz. Speaking at the "At the Roots of Europe for Peace and Unity" event, Macron joined political and religious leaders, including Pope Leo XIV, to discuss common commitments to peace.

Macron described how lies turn adversaries into enemies and algorithms into amplifiers of negative emotions. He argued that peace must be built patiently by people of goodwill rather than simply decreed.

The president called for a sovereign and democratic Europe that avoids isolationism, hatred of others, and divisive nationalism. Macron said technological innovation must serve human dignity to combat the current epidemic of disinformation.
