Women of the Synod: European churches learn to listen to each other

European churches have moved closer to one another through the synodal process, despite remaining differences between the East and West, according to Myriam Wijlens and others.

Speaking at the conclusion of the Shaping Synodality in Europe conference in Wels, Myriam Wijlens, Klara Csiszar, Sr. Anna Mirijam Kaschner, and Helena Jeppesen-Spuhler shared their assessments. These women accompanied the 2023 and 2024 World Synod meetings and used those experiences to contribute to the European process.
