Friday September 18th: Everybody’s business

The Diocese of Port of Spain released a reflection on Friday, September 18, stating that every baptized person has a role in the mission of the Church.

Drawing from the Gospel of Luke, the Diocese noted that a group of women accompanied Jesus and his disciples by providing resources and support for their mission. The reflection explains that while these women may not have been in the spotlight, their generosity was essential to the work of proclaiming the kingdom of God.

The Diocese encourages all members of the community to participate in ministry, noting that service is not limited to specialized individuals but is the responsibility of everyone. Through acts of kindness and service, the Church teaches that people can help bring healing and hope to the world.
