Gaza: A day of light for those who never stop giving
A survey by Caritas Jerusalem shows that healthcare workers in Gaza face extreme personal hardship while continuing to provide medical care. According to the findings, which had a 93.6% response rate, staff members have been displaced an average of almost six times since the conflict began, with some individuals fleeing as many as twenty times.
The survey reports that more than 70% of the staff members' houses were partially damaged, while over a quarter said their homes had been completely destroyed. Additionally, nearly seven in ten lost their family's primary source of income.
