Giáo phận Bắc Ninh celebrates feast day

Thousands of people from various parishes and chapels gathered at the Ben Dong Parish Shrine to celebrate the feast of Our Lady of the Rosary, the patronal feast of the Bac Ninh Diocese, on October 3, 2026.

During the Mass, Bishop Joseph used the teachings of Saint Bernard of Clairvaux to encourage the community to follow Mary to avoid losing their way and to pray to her to avoid despair. He described Mary as a model of obedience and humility who carries out the will of God. The bishop also highlighted Mary's role as a praying mother among the early believers to remind the faithful of the importance of prayer, specifically the recitation of the Rosary.
