Giáo xứ Bảo Sơn celebrates Mass in honor of St. Francis of Assisi

Bảo Sơn Parish celebrated Mass on October 2, 2026, to honor St. Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of the parish Caritas group.

The priest, Dominic Nguyễn Hữu Hoàn, led the liturgy. He was joined by Joseph Nguyễn Văn Nguyên, head of the Bac Ninh Diocese Caritas group, along with religious sisters, brothers, parish council members, and Caritas volunteers.

During the Mass, Father Joseph Nguyễn Văn Nguyên encouraged Caritas members to commit more deeply to their mission. He told the group to act as the hands of God through charity and to serve as useful instruments of his will. The community prayed for the Caritas members to follow the example of St. Francis of Assisi by living simply and serving the poor and suffering with generosity.
