Archdiocese of Huè reports parish opens catechism year

Phanxicô Xaviê Parish in the Archdiocese of Huê opened its 2026–2027 religious education school year on Sunday, September 20, 2026. The opening event included catechists, students, the pastoral council, and parents.

The parish priest, Father Phêrô Nguyễn Vũ, presided over the opening Mass alongside assistant priest Father Giuse Nguyễn Ngọc Tân. During the liturgy, Father Phêrô told students that religious education is intended to help them know, love, and live like Jesus rather than just memorizing answers or playing games. He also encouraged the students to follow the academic year's theme, which calls each student to be a missionary disciple.

Before the Mass, students gathered at the Nhà Hiệp nhất for breakfast provided by the parish's Bếp Yêu thương and participated in group activities and games.
