Giornalismo sociale: “Dieci anni di Premio Bisceglia”

The Alessandra Bisceglia Prize for social journalism will hold its tenth anniversary event on September 24 at 2:00 p.m. in the Aula Magna of Lumsa University. The program focuses on the future of social journalism and brings together different generations of journalists.

The Alessandra Bisceglia Viva Ale Foundation organized the event to encourage reporting on rare diseases that relies on scientific evidence. The foundation stated that such information should promote equal access to healthcare and support values like solidarity and the inclusion of people with disabilities in society.

Raffaele Lombardi, an associate in the sociology of communication at Lumsa, will open the session by presenting findings from a study titled "Symbolic Capital, Civil Engagement, and Professional Fragility in Contemporary Social Journalism." The event includes two roundtables and is free for journalism students and journalists under 35 who are registered with the Order of Journalists.
