Goa Mariapolis 2026: Closeness – Communion, Witness and Prayer

63 people gathered at Casa Pallotti in Assagao for the Goa Mariapolis 2026. The event brought together participants of various ages and backgrounds for four days of fraternity and spiritual renewal.

The gathering followed the theme of Closeness, which encouraged attendees to deepen their connections with God and each other through prayer, witness, and communion. This theme aligned with the Archdiocese of Goa e Damão's theme, Abide in me. Inspired by the spirituality of Chiara Lubich, the event functioned as a City of Mary where people practiced mutual love and peace.

The program concluded with a concelebrated Holy Mass led by Auxiliary Bishop Simiao. Participants reported experiencing a sense of joy and family unity that transcended their individual differences.
