Gougane Sunday 2026 on 27 September

Bishop Fintan Gavin will celebrate Mass at Gougane Barra on Sunday, 27 September, for the annual Gougane Sunday pilgrimage. The Diocese of Cork and Ross invites people from all parishes and faith communities to gather at the site to honor St Finbarr, one of the patrons of the diocese.

The pilgrimage schedule includes confessions at 1:30pm and the Rosary at 2:30pm, followed by Mass at 3:00pm. Participants will pray for the diocese, families, parishes, faith communities, and the upcoming pastoral year.
