Green Lava: A young man’s story on the road to the Oscars

The documentary short Green Lava begins its journey to qualify for the Academy Awards with a screening in Beverly Hills on September 18. Produced in collaboration with the Vatican, the film follows the story of Giacomo Mattivi.

Mattivi told Vatican Media that he hopes the film's message reaches as many people as possible. Director Lia Beltrami described the protagonist's life as one lived in faith, while Dr. Paolo Ruffini characterized the film as an antidote to clouded eyes.
