Győri Egyházmegye holds cursillo meeting

The Diocese of Győr held its second Cursillo meeting on the second Saturday of September at the Sacred Heart Church in the Győr-Gyárváros district. The gathering aimed to build a sense of community among Cursillo members across the diocese, as organizers noted that statistics on participants remain fragmented due to various independent organizers throughout the country.

Parish priest György Ferling, who serves as the spiritual leader for the diocese's Cursillo groups, welcomed the attendees and led a Mass. During the meeting, participants reflected on the parable of the prodigal son, discussing themes of repentance, forgiveness, and the concept of the "fourth day."

Ferling also reported on a Cursillo weekend held in early July at the Sopronkőhida prison, where 15 inmates heard the Gospel.
