“Heranças da Fé”: série destacará os templos que ajudam a contar a caminhada da fé na Sé Primacial da Igreja no Brasil

The Archdiocese of São Salvador da Bahia will launch a weekly series titled “Heranças da Fé” on September 17 to highlight the religious, historical, and artistic heritage of its temples. The communication department will release new content every Thursday on the archdiocese website to help the public learn about the traditions and images that define the history of the Sé Primacial of the Church in Brazil.

The series draws from the book “Basílicas & Capelinhas” by Biaggio Talento and Helenita Hollanda. It aims to preserve the memories of the local Church for current and future generations by revisiting significant religious sites and events in the city.

The first installment will focus on the Igreja de Nossa Senhora da Graça. Subsequent weekly posts will reveal other elements of the identity and history of the Archdiocese of São Salvador da Bahia.
