His Beatitude Sviatoslav Congratulates Bishop Bohdan Danylo on the 30th Anniversary of His Priesthood

Sviatoslav, the head of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, congratulated Bishop Bohdan Danylo on the 30th anniversary of his priesthood. Sviatoslav issued the greeting personally and on behalf of the Synod of Bishops to honor the Eparch of Parma and Chairman of the UGCC Patriarchal Commission for Clergy.

The greeting noted that Bishop Bohdan was ordained by the late Bishop Basil Losten, the former Eparch of Stamford. During his years of service in the Stamford Eparchy, Bishop Bohdan served as the prefect and procurator of Saint Basil the Great Seminary and later as its rector following his studies in Rome. Sviatoslav expressed gratitude for Bishop Bohdan's role in the spiritual and intellectual formation of future priests.
