Hội Dòng Đức Mẹ Hiệp Nhất: Thánh Lễ Giỗ Lần Thứ 20 – Cầu Nguyện Cho Đức Cha Cố Giuse Maria Nguyễn Quang Tuyến

The Association of the Immaculate Mother held a Mass on Saturday, September 19, to mark the 20th anniversary of the death of the late Bishop Joseph Maria Nguyen Quang Tuyen. The liturgy took place at 9:30 a.m. at the Duc Me Tham Vieng Chapel.

Father Dominic Nguyen Minh Tan, the dean of Bac Giang, celebrated the Mass. He was joined by Father Joseph Nguyen Van Tinh, C.Ss.R., the dean of Bac Kan, and several other priests from the Diocese of Bac Ninh. Attendees included the late bishop's relatives, seminarians, parish councils, guests, and members of the Association of the Immaculate Mother.

During the Mass, Father Francis Xavier Nguyen Huy Lieu spoke about the late bishop's life as a simple and approachable shepherd. He noted that despite difficult travel conditions and remote locations, the bishop frequently visited parishes to support the faithful. Father Lieu also mentioned the bishop's efforts to increase the number of priests to assist in pastoral work and his desire for the diocese to function as a unified family.
