Holy Land cardinal touched by $1 donation from Africa

Cardinal Pierbattista Pizzaballa, the Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem, expressed his gratitude for a one dollar donation received from Africa.

In an interview with the Italian news outlet La Repubblica, Pizzaballa noted that the gesture moved him. He remarked that despite such acts of solidarity, it appears that progress in the region has been limited. He was discussing the situation in the Holy Land following the Hamas attack on Israel on October 7.
