Homegrown Priest, Hometown Pride: New Priest Ordained in Littleton

Archbishop Emeritus Samuel J. Aquila ordained Riley Blanchard to the priesthood on Saturday. Blanchard, a member of the Disciples of the Hearts of Jesus and Mary, is the first American-born priest for that religious order.

Blanchard celebrated his first Mass as a priest at St. Mary Parish in Littleton. Seventeen priests participated in the 9:30 a.m. Mass held at the parish.
