I Missionari del Preziosissimo Sangue aprono una nuova comunità a Catania

The Missionaries of the Most Precious Blood will officially open a new religious community at the Holy Spirit parish in Catania on Sunday, September 20. The community's start will be marked by a 10:30 a.m. Mass presided over by Bishop Vincenzo Branchina, the Vicar General of the diocese of Catania.

Benedetto Labate, director of the Italian Province of the Missionaries of the Most Precious Blood, said Archbishop Luigi Renna requested the congregation's presence in the diocese. The new community will consist of Father Paul Ndigi from Cameroon and Father Denis Pantaleo from Tanzania. Both priests studied in Italy and are familiar with the local culture, though Labate noted the challenge of serving a congregation previously accustomed only to diocesan priests.
