I vescovi dell'Uruguay dal Papa: lo abbiamo ringraziato per la sua opera di pace

Uruguayan bishops met with Pope Leo XIV to thank him for his work of peace and to discuss the challenges facing the Church in their country. During the meeting, Cardinal Daniel Sturla and Bishop Milton Tróccoli shared the hopes and fears of their people regarding secularism, family life, violence, drug trafficking, and evangelization.

The audience took place approximately two months after the Pope's apostolic journey to Latin America. The bishops presented the Pope with stories and thoughts from the people of Uruguay. They also noted that the entire community showed great enthusiasm during the preparations for the Pope's recent visit.
