Iêmen, confrontos violentos: milhares de pessoas em fuga

Thousands of people are fleeing western Yemen as artillery fire, ballistic missiles, and drones strike the region, according to Vatican News. The strategic provinces of Taiz and Hodeida are currently under siege, causing the death toll to rise to 120 people.

The influx of displaced people is overcrowding refugee camps that were already at capacity. The United Nations condemned attacks by rebels and urged a return to negotiations to prevent an immediate escalation of the conflict and a worsening of the humanitarian crisis.
