Il 22 settembre il convegno pastorale diocesano

The Diocese of Prato will hold its 2026 diocesan pastoral conference on Tuesday, September 22, at 9:00 p.m. in the Church of San Domenico. Bishop Giovanni Nerbini will present the proposed path for the new pastoral year to the local Church, focusing on the practice of Lectio Divina as a way to listen to the Word of God.

The conference title, "Speak, Lord, for your servant is listening," refers to the words of Samuel in the first book of Samuel. Following the bishop's presentation, the assembly will have time for observations, questions, and testimonies.

The diocese will distribute a small pocket guide to participants and later to parish priests to help spread the practice of Lectio Divina. The event is intended for all faithful, particularly consecrated persons and laypeople involved in diocesan community life.
