Il cardinale Pizzaballa a Meeting di Rimini per tenere alta l’attenzione sulla Terra Santa

Cardinal Pierbattista Pizzaballa, the Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem, spoke at the Meeting of Rimini to urge continued international attention on Gaza, Cisgiordania, and Israel. During the event, the cardinal emphasized that the civilian population remains a primary victim of conflict and noted that the region has lived in a state of suspension for too long.

Pizzaballa stated that the current situation requires gestures on the ground that build trust rather than the resumption of war. He addressed questions from three high school students regarding ways to draw global attention to the suffering of children in war zones, including a proposal to award the Nobel Peace Prize to children affected by conflict. The cardinal encouraged the students to remain human.
