Il-Maċedonja ta’ Fuq tirritorna għall-Eurovision wara nuqqas ta’ erba snin

North Macedonia will participate in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2027, the public broadcaster MRT announced. This marks the country's return to the competition after a four-year absence.

The 71st edition of the festival is scheduled to take place in Burgas, Bulgaria, next May. North Macedonia has not participated in the contest since 2022, when Andrea represented the nation in Turin with the song Circles.

The country first entered the competition in 1998 and has participated in 21 editions, reaching the final nine times. The highest placement for North Macedonia was seventh place in 2019, achieved by Tamara Todevska with the song Proud.
