Il Papa: «Imparare dalla storia per non ricadere negli errori del passato»

Pope Leo urged people to learn from history to avoid repeating mistakes during his Angelus address on September 20. Speaking in St. Peter's Square, he mentioned the people of Pescantina, near Verona, who gathered at the Monumento agli Ex Internati to remember those deported and imprisoned during the second world war.

The Pope also expressed concern regarding the humanitarian crisis in parts of Somalia. He noted that violence and extreme weather are worsening living conditions for the population, especially for women and children. He asked the international community to provide necessary assistance to those in need.
