Il-purċissjoni ta’ Ħaż-Żabbar titħassar minħabba l-maltemp

The procession for the feast of Madonna tal-Grazzja in Ħaż-Żabbar was cancelled due to bad weather. The Knisja Arċipretali made the decision after consulting with the Uffiċċju Metrerjoloġiku at l-Ajruport Internazzjonali ta’ Malta and other experts.

Unstable weather and the amount of water currently on Maltese roads led to the decision to ensure public safety and protect the statue of Madonna tal-Grazzja. The public is encouraged to attend Mass tomorrow at 6pm, which will be followed by the entrance into the niche.
