In preghiera per il papa. Dalla cappella del Gemelli con Reina a Cascia con le suore agostiniane

Cardinal Pietro Parolin and Cardinal Baldassare Reina are joining the Church in prayer for Pope Leo XIV as he undergoes surgery at Gemelli in Rome.

Cardinal Reina, the Vicar General for the Diocese of Rome and Arciprete of the Basilica Papale di San Giovanni in Laterano, led the recitation of the Rosary at the Gemelli chapel. Cardinal Parolin expressed his affection for the Pope following a conference at the Pontificia Università Gregoriana. Parolin noted the serenity the Pope displayed during his recent Angelus address and expressed hope that the current difficulty will be resolved quickly.

In Cascia, the Suore Agostiniane at the Augustinian sanctuary are also offering prayers for the Pope.
