In Siria riaprono le Scuole di Terra Santa

Terra Santa schools reopened in Yaqubiya and Al-Quniya, Syria, on Sunday, September 20. The reopening ceremonies included students, teachers, families, and civil and religious authorities.

Father Francesco Ielpo, the Custodian of the Holy Land, attended the events. He stated that rebuilding a school provides children with a place to grow, learn, and dream. He also noted that education serves as a vital path toward building peace.

The Custody of the Holy Land supports the local population through both spiritual care and practical assistance. By providing education to children, the schools aim to give families reasons to remain in the region and help create conditions that might allow displaced people to return.
