Archdiocese of Madrid renews its Delegation of Culture
The Archdiocese of Madrid renewed its Culture Delegation during a ceremony at the Bishop's Chapel on October 2. Cardinal José Cobo, the archbishop of Madrid, presided over the event, which established the chapel as the new headquarters for the delegation.
The delegation aims to serve as a space for dialogue between the Church and contemporary culture. Episcopal delegate Manuel María Bru stated that the program seeks to make the world more just and beautiful through the dialogue between faith and culture. The office intends to act as a guide and a space for discernment to help the Church reach those far from the faith.
The new headquarters already hosts two exhibitions. Cristina Sánchez Aguilar, director of Alfa y Omega, described the program as an open project currently under construction.
