Inizia la prima visita pastorale del vescovo Mosciatti

Bishop Giovanni Mosciatti will begin his first pastoral visit to the Diocese of Imola on September 21, starting in the Media Pianura vicariate at Castel Bolognese. The tour is scheduled to last approximately 18 months, reaching all vicariates and communities in the diocese through the end of 2027, with the Senio valley serving as the final stop.

The bishop plans to meet with parishes, associations, and various ecclesial groups, such as Misericordia and Centro Nuovi Orizzonti. He also intends to visit civil institutions, including schools, factories, workplaces, and local councils. According to the Diocese of Imola, the purpose of these visits is to facilitate direct dialogue with people, listen to communities, and observe local changes.

Following the start in Castel Bolognese, the bishop will visit parishes in Castelnuovo, Borello, Campiano, and Serra. A concluding Mass for the Castel Bolognese area is set for October 9. The schedule continues with visits to San Prospero and Chiusura from October 12 to 18, followed by Bubano, Mordano, and Bagnara between October 19 and November 11. In a pastoral letter titled "Nell'unico Cristo siamo uno," the bishop expressed his desire to reach out to the people of the diocese.
