Inizio Anno Pastorale e Mandato: l’invito del Vescovo

Bishop Giovanni Paccosi has invited the pastoral communities of the Diocese of San Miniato to study a recent speech by Pope Leo XIV to help implement diocesan goals. The Bishop suggested that parish pastoral councils and leaders read the Pope's address, which was delivered to the Diocesan Assembly of Rome on September 18, to better understand how to apply the instructions from his own pastoral letter released this past March.

The invitation comes as the diocese begins a new pastoral year and prepares for the Day of the Mandate, scheduled for October 11 at 16.00 at the Cathedral. Bishop Paccosi noted that the Pope's speech offers a method based on gratitude that can help make the diocese's shared experiences more concrete.
