Intelligenza artificiale e informazione, cinque webinar per comunicatori ecclesiali

The National Office for Social Communications and the Cei IT Service will host five online webinars titled "CambIAmenti" to explore the relationship between artificial intelligence and Church communication. The sessions, scheduled from October 5 to October 28, are designed for communication workers, pastoral ministers, professionals, educators, teachers, and those involved in training.

The program draws inspiration from Pope Leo XIV’s encyclical *Magnifica humanitas* and the document *Radicati e costruiti in Cristo* from the episcopal conference. Participants will examine how artificial intelligence impacts modern society and relationships, the pursuit of universal peace, and the protection of human dignity. Discussions will also cover human responsibility in AI development, focusing on ethical and legal issues.

The webinar schedule includes sessions on October 5 led by Professor Antonio Cisternino regarding algorithms and human change, and on October 12 with Father Christian Barone discussing technology and peace. On October 19, Professor Adriano Fabris will speak on ethical discernment and algorithmic responsibility. Following a session on October 26 regarding law and justice, the final meeting will offer practical ways for local communities to engage with digital worlds in a missionary way.
