ÎPS Aurel Percă la hramul Parohiei Sfântul Pius din Pietrelcina (Padre Pio) din Constanța

Archbishop Aurel Percă presided over the feast day Mass for the Saint Pius of Pietrelcina (Padre Pio) Parish in Constanța on Saturday, September 19, 2026. The celebration included 22 priests from the archdiocese and other dioceses.

Father Felician Tiba, who is responsible for family pastoral care in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Iași, delivered the homily. He described Padre Pio as a model of faith and patience, explaining how the saint used suffering as a way to grow closer to God and unite with the passion of Christ. Father Tiba also encouraged the faithful to view saints as friends and guides who intercede for the people of God.

At the conclusion of the liturgy, parish priest Father Vasile Lucian Ianuș thanked Archbishop Percă, the concelebrating priests, and those who organized the celebration.
