IV Encuentro de Cumplimiento Normativo para profundizar en el buen gobierno y la transparencia en la Iglesia, 6 y 7 de octubre

The Órgano de Cumplimiento Normativo of the Conferencia Episcopal Española will host the IV Encuentro de Cumplimiento Normativo in Madrid on October 6 and 7. The event brings together representatives from dioceses and Church institutions to study compliance systems and their application within the Church.

Bishop Luis Argüello, president of the Conferencia Episcopal Española, will welcome attendees on October 6, followed by an opening from the Apostolic Nuncio to Spain, Mons. Piero Pioppo. Alfredo Dagnino, director of Cumplimiento Normativo and president of the OCN-CEE, will present the meeting.

The inaugural session features Mons. Alejandro Arellano, decano of the Tribunal de la Rota Romana and president of the Tribunal de Apelación de la Ciudad del Vaticano, who will speak on Church good governance and the response of law. Mons. Francisco César García Magán, general secretary of the Conferencia Episcopal Española, will introduce the presentation. Additionally, Mons. Carlos Manuel Morán Bustos, decano of the Tribunal de la Rota de la Nunciatura Apostólica, will discuss the principle of legality in Church administrative and judicial matters.
