James Conley, biskup z depresją. „Niepokój i strach wzajemnie się podsycały”

Bishop James Conley of Lincoln, Nebraska, shared his experience with depression in a pastoral letter titled A Future with Hope. In the letter, published in May 2024, he described how anxiety and fear fueled one another during his struggle.

Conley previously took a leave of absence granted by the Pope in December 2019 to address his mental health. He returned to his role as the head of the diocese one year later.
