« Je voudrais courir dans les bras du Seigneur » : Louis Bouffard

Louis Bouffard, the co-president of the association Les Éligibles et leurs Aidants and spokesperson for the Associations Familiales Catholiques, maintains a strong faith despite living with Duchenne muscular dystrophy. Diagnosed with the neurodegenerative disease at age two, Bouffard now uses a wheelchair as the condition has progressed and reduced his autonomy.

Bouffard attributes his ability to remain joyful through physical challenges and the loss of his mother to prayer, the sacraments, and the hope of the Resurrection. He emphasizes the importance of being connected to others as a central principle of his life.
