Jesús Sevilla celebrates 95th birthday
Jesús Sevilla, a physician and founder of the newspaper Las Tablas de Daimiel, celebrated his 95th birthday last Saturday. He has been with his wife, Paquita, for 72 years, including six years of courtship and 66 years of marriage.
Sevilla, who previously served as director of the Academia de la Hispanidad and has authored twelve books, credited his family life to faith and following the teachings of the Church through work and sacrifice. He noted that he and his wife have participated in Cursillos de Cristiandad together.
Regarding the education of his five children in the faith, Sevilla recommended taking children to Mass from a young age to familiarize them with the parish. Two of his children have served as catechists, and another is a pastoral agent at the Virgen de la Providencia y San Cayetano parish.
