Joaquín Reyes: «Soy practicante. A lo mejor no tengo tanta fe como Christian Gálvez, pero sí, tengo fe»

Joaquín Reyes identified himself as a practicing Catholic during an appearance on the program Salvados on September 20. While speaking with presenter Gonzo during a trip from Albacete to El Mojón, Reyes discussed his religious background and his personal views on the Church.

Reyes stated that his faith began within his family, noting that his parents belonged to a Christian community. He recalled attending Christian summer camps in Alcocéber, which he described as movements within the Church that focused on a commitment to the poor and held more progressive views.

Despite identifying as a practitioner, Reyes noted that he does not agree with all Church positions. He suggested that the Church should evolve on issues such as celibacy and expressed support for the acceptance of homosexuality. Additionally, Reyes stated his preference for secular education, suggesting that religion should be outside of schools and that parents can enroll their children in catechesis.
