Jovens universitários realizam ação solidária e levam refeições à comunidade da Vila Torres em Curitiba

University students from several institutions in Curitiba prepared and delivered meals to vulnerable residents in the Vila Torres community on August 22.

The Archdiocese of Curitiba University Ministry organized the humanitarian action, which began at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Sanctuary in the Água Verde neighborhood. Approximately 30 volunteers from the Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Paraná (PUCPR), FAE Centro Universitário, Universidade Tecnológica Federal do Paraná (UTFPR), and Universidade Federal do Paraná (UFPR) gathered to prepare risotto.

Volunteers distributed the meals at the local chapel in Vila Torres and visited homes in the area to talk with families. The Archdiocese stated the project aims to connect student life with practical social action while encouraging empathy and social commitment among participants.
