Katie Kitamura writes at Shakespeare and Company

American author Katie Kitamura used a residence provided by Shakespeare and Company in Paris to write her latest book, L’Audition.

The book was released in France in August after receiving several awards. Kitamura wrote the work while traveling between Lausanne, Rome, and Paris. According to Marianne Meunier for La Croix L’Hebdo, the author stayed in the residence made available to her by the bookstore.
