Priest Przemysław Druszcz hit by motorcyclist

Priest Przemysław Druszcz was hospitalized after being hit by a motorcycle on a pedestrian crossing in Myślenice on Tuesday, September 22. The accident occurred on Kniaziewicza Street when an 18-year-old motorcyclist lost control of his vehicle on a wet road.

Police reported that the motorcyclist failed to adjust his speed to the road conditions. Although the rider attempted to brake upon seeing the pedestrian, the motorcycle slid across the wet surface and struck him.

Father Druszcz, the parochial vicar of the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Myślenice, underwent a five-hour skull surgery following the collision. While police stated his injuries were not life-threatening, Faktywadowice.pl reported that his condition is very serious. The sanctuary has asked the faithful to pray for the priest, specifically before the image of Our Lady of Myślenice.
