L-Isle of MTV Malta jixxandar illum madwar id-dinja

MTV will broadcast the Isle of MTV Malta 2026 worldwide on September 18, reaching audiences in more than 150 countries. The program will also be available for on-demand viewing.

The broadcast features footage from the 18th edition of the event, which took place on July 22 at the Fosos tal-Furjana. Approximately 40,000 people attended the concert. International singer Katy Perry headlined the event, performing hits such as California Gurls, Roar, and Firework, along with her new single Watch It Burn. During an acoustic version of Roar, Perry spoke about a period when she felt she had lost her voice and shared a message regarding kindness and perseverance.

The musical lineup also included Maltese artist AIDAN, who represented Malta in the 2026 Eurovision Song Contest, and Afrojack, who closed the evening with an electronic music set. Jamie Cardona and Mychael Bartolo Chircop also performed before the main artists.
