La Archidiócesis ha celebrado el XI aniversario de Proyecto Mater

The Archdiocese of Toledo celebrated the XI anniversary of Proyecto Mater with a prayer service and Mass in Argés on September 18. The event included a vigil focused on the defense of life through the writings of various popes.

Provicarío General José Fernando González Espuela presided over the Mass, joined by Enmanuel Calo, consiliario of the Family and Life Delegation; José Luis Martín, episcopal delegate for Cáritas Diocesana de Toledo; and local parish priest Jesús García-Ochoa. González Espuela noted that the Archdiocese, under former archbishop Braulio Rodríguez Plaza, launched Proyecto Mater to coordinate a response through Cáritas. He stated that the project serves the Church's mission to defend life and support women.

During this pastoral year, Proyecto Mater will run a campaign called 12 meses por la vida. This program is designed to organize educational, spiritual, and solidarity actions to raise awareness throughout the archdiocese.
