LA COPA DE LA FE CERRÓ CON CUATRO CAMPEONES Y UNA IGLESIA QUE CELEBRÓ EL ENCUENTRO

The Archdiocese of Medellín hosted the 2026 Faith Cup from September 7 to 11, bringing together nearly 800 priests from various Colombian dioceses and international delegations from Mexico, Venezuela, Ecuador, and Costa Rica. The sporting event used football to foster fraternity and communion among clergy from different pastoral settings.

Four groups earned championship titles during the final day of competition. San Cristóbal, Venezuela, won the Copa de Juego Limpio, while Mexico took the Copa de la Paz y la Reconciliación. Garzón won the Copa de la Fraternidad, and Nueva Pamplona won the Copa de la Esperanza.

The event included participation from bishops, priests, referees, and families. According to the Archdiocese of Medellín, the gathering allowed priests, dioceses, and pastoral communities to strengthen their bonds through sport.
