Diocese of Albenga–Imperia opens pastoral triennium 2026-2029

Bishop Guglielmo Borghetti presented new pastoral guidelines for the 2026–2029 triennium during an annual assembly of clergy held at the Albenga Seminary on September 17 and 18. The program, titled "The Joy of Communion," provides a spiritual and community reconstruction plan for all parishes, associations, and movements within the Diocese of Albenga–Imperia.

The diocesan path consists of three annual stages. The first year focuses on the Holy Spirit as the source of communion in diversity. The second year is dedicated to the Eucharist to unite the community. The third year will be guided by Mary as a model of fraternity and union with God.

Biblist Claudio Doglio provided the theological foundation for the program through a report intended to move from isolation toward collective unity.
