Diocese of Huelva initiates preparation itinerary for Diocesan Assembly

The Diocese of Huelva has started a preparation process for its Diocesan Assembly, which is scheduled for June 5 and 6, 2027. The diocese intends to involve the entire local community in this itinerary, which uses the theme of the bishop's pastoral letter, "As disciples of the Lord, we walk together to renew the mission."

The process combines a review of the Orientaciones Pastorales Diocesanas 2022-2027 with the implementation of the Documento Final del Sínodo sobre la Sinodalidad. This approach allows the diocese to evaluate its recent pastoral work and integrate the call for a more participatory and missionary church. The itinerary moves from personal experience to community encounters and ecclesial discernment to help the community decide on new paths for renewal.
