La Diócesis inicia el curso en la Catedral

The Diocese of Lugo will celebrate the opening Mass for the 2026-2027 pastoral year on Thursday, September 24, at 20 h at the Cathedral. Bishop Alfonso Carrasco will preside over the liturgy.

The event invites priests, members of religious life, episcopal delegations, movements, catechists, volunteers, and parishioners from various parishes to join the diocesan gathering. The diocese chose the theme "Un camino unidos" for the new year to encourage growth in communion, shared responsibility, and coordination.

Pastoral priorities for this year include the centrality of the Eucharist and baptism, lay participation, synodality, coordination between parishes, and the public expression of the Christian experience.
