Bishop Fernando Ramón participates in AI forum

Auxiliary Bishop Fernando Ramón participated in the "Persona, empresa e inteligencia artificial" forum to discuss Pope Leo XIV's encyclical, Magnifica Humanitas. The event was organized by the Archdiocese of Valencia, the Fundación Étnor, Acción Social Empresarial (ASE), and the Foro Empresa Humanismo y Tecnología de la Comunidad Valenciana.

Bishop Ramón stated that the Church in Valencia intends to support research in science, technique, and the person by promoting responsible dialogue without alarmism. He noted that the encyclical asks whether technology will build a society dominated by power or a community guided by justice and solidarity.

The bishop also praised the participating organizations and foundations for their interest in the social doctrine of the Church and the encyclical. He suggested that training business leaders in Christian values is essential.
