La Pastoral de la Salud, llamada a multiplicar el acompañamiento a los que sufren

The Health Ministry of the Archdiocese of La Plata held a diocesan day on September 19 at Misericordia College to strengthen how Church members support those who are vulnerable. The event, themed “I was sick and you visited me,” brought together various groups from across the local Church.

The program included training sessions on palliative care, the end of life, and euthanasia. Participants watched two dramatic reenactments, one regarding communication and another regarding the model of encounter for Health Ministry servants during visits.

Archbishop Gustavo Carrara presided over the closing Mass and thanked the doctors, health professionals, religious sisters, and laypeople who serve in this ministry. The day concluded with a discussion where participants shared their experiences.
